Prevention

Every message, checked in real time

Whenever a message is sent in a server Astronaut can see, it runs a check on the message and the author's User ID and Message Content compared against its database immediately.

  • User ID

    Astronaut checks how many strikes a user has and if they're in the ban database.

  • Message content

    Dangerous/Blacklisted Links, Mention Spam, and Raids all detected.

Astronaut's AntiRaid features are still in-development and may miss things, Astronaut does not use AI.

Strike System

Strikes follow the User ID

Every user has a strike count by User ID. Strikes come from harmful activities like raids, scams, phishing, etc. and they do not expire. Permanent unless successfully appealed.

3+ strikes

At 5+ strikes, users are automatically removed from every server where Astronaut can remove them.

Reasons are DMed when a strike updates, but reasons are not stored in the bot.

Reports

Report things Astronaut can't detect

Astronaut allows members to report specific activity that it cannot yet detect, missed, or that happened in places Astronaut cannot see such as DMs or hidden channels. All reports are handled based on a ruleset and are handled by human moderators. For more information on what you can report, click here.

  • Member Reports

    Bad actors? Report a member of a server for harmful actions Astronaut can't detect or missed.

  • Server Reports

    Whole server involved? Report a Server that uses Astronaut for facilitating or assisting in harmful activities.

  • Bug Reports

    Something not working? Report a bug with Astronaut to us directly!

If action is taken, the reporter is notified (for user reports only) and the reported user is never told who reported them.
